Session 1: June 17-23, Session 2: June 24-30

In the summer of 2024, we are hosting an Introduction to Python summer boot camp in which students will spend 2 hours per day in a 4-day programming curriculum via Zoom. Following the instructive lessons, students will spend 3 days working on a graphic programming project with the support of instructors during office hours. 

Through this camp, we hope to reach under-resourced communities with opportunities to engage with contemporary informatic technology. 

During the summer of 2023, Tina and Anni traveled to NiuChiShui elementary school in rural Guizhou, China. There, they taught english classes to the 5th graders by holding easy English conversations with the students. During the lessons, they shared their stories of studying in the United States and communicated the point and importance of language-learning.

We not only aim to help kids locate the learning resources they need, we also have the goal of helping them find meaning and joy on their journey of learning.
